1 cup Whole Wheat Flour*
1 cup All Purpose Flour
2 Tbs Brown Sugar
2 Tbs Baking Powder
4 Tbs Vegetable Oil
1 3/4 cups Milk
1/3 cup Water*
2 Tbs Flax Seed/6 Tbs water combo.
2/3 cup finely chopped pecans.
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or more *grin*)
Mix the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients except for the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly. Heat up your griddle and cook them up. I sprinkled each pancake with the chocolate chips once on the griddle.
*You can use 2 cups All Purpose and skip the whole wheat, but leave the water out.
